Welcome to the Mon Soleil Journal. Enjoy perusing through featured stories of love, connection, and deep meaning. It's a great honor and joy to bring these beautiful expressions of soul-driven artistry to you.

Hi, I'm Marissa

Ireland is known for its rich color and vast landscapes, and although we adore these elements, we chose to embrace the wide variation of light at the Carlow Museum. The balance of the elusive nature of darkness and the freedom of light brings forth boundless creativity. It’s the magnificence of light that has inspired this editorial.

Pearl and Godiva joined us in the venture as we imagined clean lines, textures, and emotive light and darkness. Pearl’s artistry holds an impeccable essence. Shooting with Pearl in her own home base in Ireland was a grand honor. With such a professional ease and experience, such honest intuition, such flawless taste, she elevates every shoot simply by her presence.

This shoot provides a new perspective on the possibilities of what it means to be photographed as a two people walking through life together. The photos should go beyond the surface and pass the obvious. Photographs are meant to challenge our perspective of love, meaning, and beauty. May you dream of the possibilities…
